Baseball Recap: Dedham Takes a Loss

Dedham suffered their biggest defeat since April 2nd on Sunday. They lost 16-5 to the Dover-Sherborn Raiders. The loss continues a trend for the Marauders in their meetings with the Raiders: they've now lost three in a row.

Dedham's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Dover-Sherborn, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-7.

Coming up, Dedham will venture away from home to challenge Westwood at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. The Wolverines' pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so the Marauders' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Dover-Sherborn, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Millis at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
