Baseball Recap: Norwood Comes Up Short

Norwood made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Summit Country Day, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Indians fell just short of the Silver Knights by a score of 2-0 on Thursday. The Indians just can't catch a break and have now endured seven defeats in a row.

Norwood's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Summit Country Day, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-8.

Norwood and Summit Country Day could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. The Indians (ranked 639th) will meet Miami Valley Christian Academy (ranked 269th) at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Summit Country Day will challenge Conner at 5:00 p.m. on Friday with a big rank disadvantage (309 vs. 73).
