Softball Recap: Upperman Comes Up Short

Upperman is still winless after their match against Livingston Academy on Tuesday, but the team can take solace in the fact it was the closest they've come to winning. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Livingston Academy Wildcats. The Bees were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Upperman saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Khloe Harper, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI. That RBI marked the first that Harper brought in this season.

Upperman's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Livingston Academy, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-1.

Coming up, Upperman is taking a road trip to take on White County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Livingston Academy, they will host Clarkrange at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
