Softball Recap: West Jordan Takes Down Springville in a Playoff Battle

West Jordan extended their postseason success on Tuesday against Springville. They came out on top against the Red Devils by a score of 7-4. The victory was familiar territory for the Jaguars, who have now won 12 contests in a row.

Rita Tavita made a splash while hitting and pitching. She pitched seven innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits. Tavita was also stellar in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with one home run and two runs.

In other batting news, Andrea Tagovailoa was incredible, going 1-for-3 with one home run and four RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Lafiana Fifita, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run.

West Jordan lost a few balls and finished the game with four home runs. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Springville didn't launched any home runs.

West Jordan's win bumped their record up to 20-3. As for Springville, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 20-7 record.

As of now, neither West Jordan nor the Red Devils have any future games scheduled.
