Tunstall dropped down to 3-2 on Monday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They fell just short of the Rustburg Red Devils by a score of 3-2. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Trojans of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2015.

As for Rustburg, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win they have posted since September 10, 2024.

Rustburg can attribute much of their success to Selah Littlejohn, who had 18 digs and four aces. That's the most aces Littlejohn has posted since back in October of 2024.

Coming up, Tunstall will be playing in front of their home fans against Chatham at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Rustburg, they will head out on the road to face off against Brookville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. This will be the Red Devils' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
