Basketball Recap: Jackson Takes a Loss

Jackson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 29-24 heartbreaker at the hands of the Chillicothe Cavaliers. The Ironman/Ironladies were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cavaliers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February.

Jackson's loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Chillicothe, with the victory, they broke their 14-game losing streak and moved their record to 1-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jackson will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against Adena at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Chillicothe, they will head out to square off against Vinton County at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
