It was a good run, but Central Lafourche unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Thursday. They came up short against the West Ouachita Chiefs, falling 13-2.

Central Lafourche saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Demi Orgeron, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double.

Central Lafourche's defeat dropped their record down to 21-8. As for West Ouachita, they pushed their record up to 18-15 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home.

While Central Lafourche had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled on Saturday.
