Blackman put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the LaVergne Wolverines 49-0. The Blaze's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Blackman's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for LaVergne, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Blackman will challenge rival Oakland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Blaze 5.8, the Patriots 4) so any points scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, LaVergne is set to take on their familiar foe Stewarts Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
