After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Centennial, Roosevelt was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They blew past the Jefferson Democrats 8-2.

Cal Hare was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Hare was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 1-for-3. He also put up a double, which was his first of the season.

Hare wasn't the only one making solid contact as seven players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Quincy Jensen, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-2. Another was Ezra Arp, who scored a run while going 1-for-4.

Roosevelt's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-6. As for Jefferson, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-4.
