Football Recap: Richmond Senior Piles Up the Points Against Pine Forest + How To Watch

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Richmond Senior). They took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging a 53-8 victory over the Pine Forest Trojans. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Raiders' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina football rankings (they are ranked 23rd, while the Trojans are ranked 211th).

Evan Hodges threw for 185 yards and two TDs on only 14 passes. Bob Pegues was his top target, picking up 75 receiving yards and one touchdown. On the ground, Chance Crowder rushed for 39 yards and a pair of scores.

The win (which was Richmond Senior's third in a row) raised their record to 4-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 43.7 points over those games. As for Pine Forest, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5.
