Basketball Recap: Irving Comes Up Short

Irving lost against Dallas Jesuit back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Irving Tigers were beaten by the Dallas Jesuit Rangers 80-53. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 757th, while the Rangers are ranked 59th).

Irving has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-20 record this season. As for Dallas Jesuit, they pushed their record up to 22-8 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Coming up, Irving will challenge Richardson at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Dallas Jesuit, they will face off against Pearce at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
