Conner has gone a perfect 10-0 against Scott recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Cougars are taking a road trip to square off against the Eagles at 5:00 p.m. Conner is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.

It was a proper cat-fight when Conner took on Walton-Verona on Tuesday. The Cougars lost 7-0 to the Bearcats.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Scott, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They won by a run and slipped past Boone County 1-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Eagles have posted since April 18th.

Scott's victory bumped their record up to 15-11. As for Conner, they now have a losing record of 15-16.

Conner was able to grind out a solid win over Scott when the teams last played back in March, winning 6-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cougars since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
