Basketball Game Preview: Cassopolis Rangers vs. Centreville Bulldogs

The Cassopolis Rangers will challenge the Centreville Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Last Tuesday, Cassopolis was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 49-43 to Lawrence.

Meanwhile, Centreville waltzed into their match on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victor by a 38-16 margin over the Huskies. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 264th, while the Huskies are ranked 661st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Cassopolis' defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-6. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.7 points over those games. As for Centreville, their victory bumped their record up to 14-4.
