Green River proved they can win big last Thursday (they won by 33) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Star Valley Braves 45-43. The win was nothing new for the Wolves as they're now sitting on three straight.

Emily Dana and Kambree Johnson certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Dana posted 14 points and five rebounds, while Johnson earned ten points. What's more, Johnson also posted a 44% field goal percentage, which is the highest she's posted since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Camryn Mackey, who put up five points and six boards.

Green River's victory bumped their record up to 11-6. As for Star Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 6-9.

Looking ahead, Green River will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Evanston at 5:00 p.m. As for Star Valley, they will head out to challenge Kelly Walsh at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
