Baseball Recap: Newton Falls Victorious

It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Newton Falls ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Garfield G-Men by a score of 6-3. This was payback for the Tigers, who suffered a 17-7 loss the last time these two teams met.

Newton Falls' win was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Leland Vargo, who went 1-for-4 with two RBI and one run.
