Volleyball Recap: Lewis County Comes Up Short + How To Watch

It was a proper cat-fight when Lewis County faced off against Columbia Central on Saturday. The Panthers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lions. The loss continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Lions: they've now lost four in a row.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-18.

Columbia Central found their leader in sophomore Allie Hill, who had four digs and two aces. Hill has been hot for a while, having also posted 15 or more assists the last 25 times she's played.

Lewis County's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Columbia Central, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Coming up, Lewis County will take on Perry County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Columbia Central, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Columbia Academy on the 23rd.
