Smithville won the last time they faced Baldwyn and things went their way on Friday too. The Seminoles were the clear victors by a 12-1 margin over the Bearcats. The Seminoles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matchups by six runs or more this season.

The win was the third in a row for Smithville, bringing their record up to 12-10. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Baldwyn, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-12.

Looking ahead, Smithville will challenge Potts Camp at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Cardinals' pitching crew has only allowed three runs per game this season, so the Seminoles' hitters will have their work cut out for them. Baldwyn does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
