Baseball Game Preview: Muenster Hornets vs. Alvord Bulldogs

For the second straight game, Muenster will face off against Alvord. The Hornets will head out to challenge the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Last Tuesday, Muenster didn't have quite enough to beat Alvord and fell 8-7. The loss continues a trend for the Hornets in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost four in a row.

The win (which was Alvord's sixth in a row) raised their record to 12-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.8 runs over those games. As for Muenster, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-7-2.
