Selah barely beat Lynden the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Vikings were the clear victors by a 10-1 margin over the Lions on Thursday. Considering the Vikings have won five matches by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory keeps Selah at an undefeated 11-0. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average this season. As for Lynden, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Selah will challenge Grandview at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Vikings are facing the Greyhounds at the right time seeing as the Greyhounds are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Lynden, they will take on Mount Vernon at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs' pitching crew has only allowed 2.5 runs per game this season, so the Lions' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
