Soccer Game Preview: Cameron vs. Chillicothe

Cameron is 0-8 against Chillicothe since April of 2016 but things could change on Monday. The Dragons will host the Hornets at 5:00 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Cameron is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to seven goals on Monday, they were much more limited against Savannah on Wednesday. They came up short against the Savages, falling 6-0.

Meanwhile, Chillicothe fell victim to Maryville and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They lost 8-0 to the Spoofhounds. The loss continues a trend for Chillicothe in their meetings with Maryville: they've now lost six in a row.

Cameron's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Chillicothe, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.

Cameron couldn't quite get it done against Chillicothe when the teams last played back in April of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Dragons avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
