Luverne can bid farewell to their four-match losing streak thanks to their match on Tuesday. They skirted past the Pike Liberal Arts Patriots 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Tigers have posted since August 25th.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Luverne got the one that really mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 18-25, 25-20, 21-25, 15-13.

Luverne's win bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Pike Liberal Arts, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-13.
