Baseball Recap: Lake Mills Takes a Loss

Lake Mills lost against Mount Horeb back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The L-Cats took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Vikings. The L-Cats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mason Flood made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That triple was his first of the season.

Lake Mills' loss dropped their record down to 12-11. As for Mount Horeb, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-10-1 record this season.

Lake Mills will face off against Big Foot at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mount Horeb, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Oregon on the 24th.
