Riley County and Rossville are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2021, but not for long. The Riley County Falcons will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Rossville Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Monday, Riley County came up short against St. Marys and fell 45-36. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Falcons came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 32nd, while the Bears are ranked 103rd).

Meanwhile, Rossville took a blow against Silver Lake on Tuesday, falling 58-20. The contest marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Riley County's loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-4. As for Rossville, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-10.

Riley County took their victory against Rossville when the teams last played back in January by a conclusive 55-33. Will Riley County repeat their success, or does Rossville have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
