Bishop Diego is a perfect 3-0 against Buena since April of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Cardinals will host the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. Buena took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Bishop Diego, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with three losses in a row, Bishop Diego turned things around against Avalon on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Lancers.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Bishop Diego took every set by at least 25 points. The final score came out to 25-0, 25-0, 25-0.

Meanwhile, Buena was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Rio Mesa.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-19, 23-25, 25-5.

Buena's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Bishop Diego, their win bumped their record up to 17-11.

Bishop Diego took their victory against Buena when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Do the Cardinals have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bulldogs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
