Soccer Recap: Briarcrest Christian's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak on the Road

After soaring to four goals the game before, Briarcrest Christian was a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Memphis University School Owls. Briarcrest Christian were not able to make up for their loss to Memphis University School from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

Briarcrest Christian's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-3. As for Memphis University School, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That lines up perfectly with their 5-1-2 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Briarcrest Christian will challenge Christian Brothers at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Christian Brothers will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Briarcrest Christian surely won't give up without a fight. As for Memphis University School, they will face off against St. Benedict at Auburndale at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Memphis University School's defense better be ready for this one: St. Benedict at Auburndale have averaged an impressive 2.9 goals per game this season.
