Chapin hadn't done well against Andress recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Chapin Huskies' defense stepped up to hand the Andress Eagles a 3-0 shutout. Considering the Huskies have won 11 contests by more than two goals this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory was the third in a row for Chapin, bringing their record for this year to 14-4. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 15 goals over those three games. As for Andress, they now have a losing record of 8-9.

Coming up, Chapin will head out to take on Burges at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The timing isn't great for Burges: they have been struggling with three straight losses at home, while Chapin has snatched up three consecutive wins on the road. As for Andress, they will welcome Jefferson at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Andress' offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
