Basketball Recap: Nova Titans vs. Southridge Spartans
Nova and Southridge squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Nova had to settle for second. They fell 65-54 to the Southridge Spartans. The Titans were not able to make up for their defeat to the Spartans from their previous meeting back in November of 2023.

When it comes to explaining why Nova lost, don't look at Jaelynn Housey. Despite the final result, she posted 28 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Housey continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last five games she's played. Another player making a difference was J'Yan Tyrell, who put up 11 points and eight boards.
