The Winston County Yellowjackets can finally bid farewell to their seven-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They came out on top against Lamar County by a score of 53-45. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Winston County also won the last time the pair played back in January.

Winston County found their leader in underclassman Marli Stewart, who scored 16 points along with 6 rebounds. Stewart continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Winston County will head out on the road to face off against Sulligent at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lamar County, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Berry at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Berry is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
