Recap: Taft Greyhounds vs. Nordheim Pirates
The Taft Greyhounds have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 27 points or more this season. They blew past Nordheim, posting a 94-54 win at home. The win was familiar territory for Taft who now have seven in a row.
It was another big night for Jordan Villalobos, who shot 4-for-11 from long range and dropped a double-double on 54 points and ten rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Taft's points. David Davis was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds.
Taft's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-9. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 57.67 points. As for Nordheim, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.
Taft will be playing in front of their home fans against San Isidro at 1:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Nordheim, they will head out on the road to face off against Runge at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
