It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Kenai Central had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They blew past the Sitka Wolves 3-0. The Kardinals haven't had any issues with the Wolves recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Kenai Central not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Sitka between 19 and 21 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-21, 25-21.

Kenai Central's victory bumped their record up to 37-16-5. As for Sitka, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 20-22-9 record this season.
