Volleyball Recap: Knight Comes Up Short

Knight was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Littlerock Lobos. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Lobos this season, with their most recent loss being a 2-1 defeat on Saturday.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Littlerock scored at least 19 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 21-25, 25-20, 25-23.

Knight's record is now 5-12. As for Littlerock, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-14 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Knight will face off against rival Eastside at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Littlerock is set to challenge their familiar foe Quartz Hill at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
