Volleyball Recap: Carmel Gets the Win

In Thursday's Canine Competition, Carmel came out on top. They took their game against the Hamilton Heights Huskies on Thursday 3-1.

Carmel had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-17, 25-23, 25-21.

Despite the loss, Hamilton Heights still got an impressive performance from Addie Doak, who had 21 digs and five assists.

Carmel's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Hamilton Heights, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 5-1.

Carmel has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 defeat against Warsaw on the 23rd. As for Hamilton Heights, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Mt. Vernon on the 23rd.
