Volleyball Recap: Bentley Comes Up Short

Bentley lost against College Prep two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Phoenix fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 3-2. The Phoenix have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Bentley wouldn't go down easily and took College Prep into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking two-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 24-26, 25-19, 25-18, 16-25, 16-14.

Bentley's loss dropped their record down to 13-10. As for College Prep, their win bumped their record up to 13-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bentley will host St. Joseph Notre Dame at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Pilots will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something the Phoenix surely won't give up without a fight. As for College Prep, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Brave Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
