Moore Haven has gone a perfect 9-0 against Pahokee recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Terriers will host the Blue Devils at 6:30 p.m.
Moore Haven is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to ten runs on Thursday, they were much more limited against Marathon on Tuesday. They lost 14-2 to the Dolphins. The contest marked the Terriers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Moore Haven saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kenny Simmons, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run. Simmons is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season.
Meanwhile, Pahokee can bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Inlet Grove with a sharp 9-2 win. The Blue Devils might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matchups by seven runs or more this season.
Michael Jackson was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Jackson was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with five stolen bases and one run.
In other batting news, Tiyler Rothstein and Jayden Putmon did most of the damage at the plate: Rothstein got on base in all four of his plate appearances with ten stolen bases and three runs, while Putmon got on base in all four of his plate appearances with seven stolen bases and two runs. Pahokee is 2-1 when Rothstein posts two or more runs, but 1-4 otherwise. Isaac Sarmiento was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with five stolen bases and one run.
Pahokee always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .706. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Inlet Grove only posted an OBP of .419.
Pahokee's victory bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Moore Haven, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Thursday as neither team is afraid to steal. Moore Haven has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 8.8 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Pahokee struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 17.4 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Moore Haven got the 'W' when the teams last played on Thursday against Pahokee by a conclusive 10-0 score. Do the Terriers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Blue Devils turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
