University had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top against the Pacifica Mariners by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday. The victory was nothing new for the Wildcats as they're now sitting on six straight.

While University might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Pacifica scored at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 19-25, 25-22, 25-18.

University's win bumped their record up to 22-6. As for Pacifica, they dropped their record down to 18-17 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Coming up, University will challenge Granada Hills Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Pacifica does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
