Redding Christian has been away from home for two games now, but on Friday they'll finally make their return. They will host the Trinity Wolves at 7:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Redding Christian is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Modoc on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Redding Christian came up short against Modoc, falling 49-28.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Wyatt Shaw, who threw for 269 yards and three touchdowns. Darren Goodman was Shaw's top target, picking up 89 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Meanwhile, Trinity was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 52-30 to Fall River. One positive for the Wolves, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Despite the defeat, Trinity got top-tier performance from Miller Brown, who rushed for 180 yards and a touchdown on only 14 carries. Brown really tore up the turf during one magnificent 80-yard run.

Even though they lost, Trinity was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 319 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in October of 2023.

Redding Christian's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Trinity, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.
