Soccer Game Preview: Kennett vs. Laconia + How To Watch

The Kennett Eagles will head out to challenge the Laconia Sachems at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Kennett's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for nine straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Kennett lost 5-1 to ConVal on Wednesday. While losing is never fun, Kennett can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Hampshire soccer rankings (they are ranked 72nd, while ConVal are ranked 17th).

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times Laconia and Campbell have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Thursday. The Sachems came up short against Campbell, falling 7-1. Laconia haven't had much luck with Campbell recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Laconia's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Kennett, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8-1.

Kennett was able to grind out a solid win over Laconia in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
