Basketball Recap: Chapel Hill's Undefeated Season over After Four Games + How To Watch

Chapel Hill lost against Seaforth back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Tigers fell just short of the Hawks by a score of 49-47. The loss was the Tigers' first of the season.

When it comes to explaining why Chapel Hill lost, don't look at Zoe Smith. Despite the final result, she went 8-for-10 en route to 17 points along with six rebounds and three blocks. Smith is crushing it when it comes to blocks: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Haara Umenwaliri, who posted eight points in addition to six boards and three steals.

Having lost for the first time this season, Chapel Hill fell to 3-1. As for Seaforth, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Coming up, Chapel Hill is taking a road trip to square off against Carrboro at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Seaforth, they will square off against Felton Grove at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
