Baseball Recap: Bluejacket Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Bluejacket owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Oaks-Mission Warriors as the Bluejacket Chieftains made off with a 7-0 win. Fans of the Chieftains have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 6+ runs.

The team relied heavily on Bryson Shaffer, who scored two runs and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-2. Shaffer is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least two every time he's taken the field this season. Another player making a difference was PJ Rowe, who scored a run and stole Three bases.

The victory (which was Bluejacket's third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bluejacket will challenge Colcord at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Oaks-Mission, they will square off against Foyil at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
