Passers beware: Evan Sharples came down with his first-ever interception on Friday and he's no doubt on the hunt for more. He also made five total tackles which he returned for a touchdown, helping propel Placer past Burbank by a score of 42-6. We hope Sharples' good performance is the first of many we'll see posted here on MaxPreps.com.

Sharples and Placer will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Del Campo at 7:30 p.m. on October 3.
