Basketball Recap: McCallum Comes Up Short

McCallum was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were dealt a 57-24 loss at the hands of the Anderson Trojans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 36-14 on January 6th.

McCallum's defeat dropped their record down to 11-17. As for Anderson, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-9.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. McCallum will square off against rival Cedar Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Anderson is set to challenge their familiar foe Richards School for Young Women Leaders at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
