Soccer Recap: Ogden Comes Up Short

If Ogden was riding high fresh off their 4-0 takedown of Creston on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bulldogs lost 10-0 to the Nevada Cubs on Monday. While losing is never fun, Ogden can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa soccer rankings (they are ranked 136th, while Nevada are ranked 47th).

Ogden's loss dropped their record down to 4-7-2. As for Nevada, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-5-2.

Ogden has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Winterset on the 6th. As for Nevada, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 10-0 victory against Boone on the 5th.
