Basketball Game Preview: Deer Valley Wolverines vs. Monte Vista Mustangs + Official Tickets

Deer Valley is 0-3 against Monte Vista since December of 2021 but things could change on Saturday. The Wolverines will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on the Mustangs at 1:00 p.m.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 75-44, which was the final score in Deer Valley's tilt against Castro Valley on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Monte Vista took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Wednesday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 77-46 win over Kimball. The Mustangs not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since December 3, 2024 (when they won 71-37).

Deer Valley now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Monte Vista, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
