Volleyball Game Preview: Lubbock Christian Eagles vs. Lake Country Christian Eagles

Lubbock Christian is 1-6 against Lake Country Christian since October of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. Lubbock Christian will host Lake Country Christian at 5:00 p.m. Lubbock Christian will be strutting in after a win while Lake Country Christian will be coming in after a defeat.

On Tuesday, Lubbock Christian beat Midland Classical Academy 3-1. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Knights: they've now won three in a row.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-21, 22-25, 25-19.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Eagles two weeks ago. Lake Country Christian came up short against Prince of Peace, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Lake Country Christian has suffered since August 19th.

While Lake Country Christian was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-23, 25-21.

Lubbock Christian's win bumped their record up to 18-3-1. As for Lake Country Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-10.

Lubbock Christian might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Lake Country Christian in their previous meeting back in October of 2024.
