Deer Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell just short of the Mariemont Warriors by a score of 4-2. Jayce Parsons put in work no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out nine batters over seven innings while giving up four earned runs off three hits. Parsons was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing two bases while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.
