Soccer Recap: Greater Cabarrus Athletic Association Starts Season with Win Against Gate City

Greater Cabarrus Athletic Association gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Monday. They came out on top against the Gate City Guardians by a score of 5-3.

Greater Cabarrus Athletic Association hit Gate City with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Isaac John (2), Luke Zimmerman, Adrian Little, and Zeb Kaylor.

Greater Cabarrus Athletic Association will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Ambassador Christian School at 6:00 p.m. on the 14th. As for Gate City, they are taking a road trip to challenge Asheboro Hybrid Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
