Basketball Game Preview: Miller/Highmore/Harrold vs. Winner Warriors

Miller/Highmore/Harrold will take on the Winner Warriors on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Miller/Highmore/Harrold is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Wessington Springs just ended the team's six-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell 61-53 to the Spartans.

Meanwhile, Winner suffered their biggest loss since February 29, 2024 on Saturday. They came up short against Dakota Valley, falling 67-41. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Dakota basketball rankings (they are ranked 67th, while the Panthers are ranked first).

Miller/Highmore/Harrold's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-3. As for Winner, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season.
