Baseball Game Preview: Berea Bulldogs vs. Travelers Rest Devildogs

Berea is on a three-game streak of home losses, and Travelers Rest a four-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Tuesday. The Berea Bulldogs will look to defend their home field against the Travelers Rest Devildogs at 6:30 p.m. Berea will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.

On Friday, Berea didn't have quite enough to beat Greenville Tech Charter and fell 11-10. That's two games in a row now that the Bulldogs have lost by just one run.

Camdyn Moorer led a balanced group of hitters, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases and one run. Another player making a difference was Uriah Lee, who got on base in two of his four plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Travelers Rest didn't have quite enough to beat West-Oak on Monday and fell 6-5.

Travelers Rest's loss dropped their record down to 7-15. As for Berea, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-17.

Berea might still be hurting after the 16-0 loss they got from Travelers Rest in their previous meeting back in April of 2025. Can the Bulldogs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
