Who's up and who's down

It was a perfect week for the MaxPreps power rankings: not a single team changed position in spite of last week's action. Among the action were the efforts of Dripping Springs's senior Tanner Prewit, an offensive menace who scored five total TDs.

Can't Touch This

Liberty Hill got a 47 - 0 win over Canyon Lake last week, and a key reason for the win was senior Kyle Harrison. Harrison earned four touchdowns and 186 yards rushing the ball. That performance made Harrison one of the best players in the power rankings last week.

This Week's Big Showdown

One of last week's main attractions was the confrontation between Westlake and Bowie, 1st and 9th in the power rankings, respectively. Everything went Westlake's way against Bowie as it secured a 35 - 0 win. 35 is shaping up to be Westlake's lucky number as the team posted the same point total in its victory over Anderson the game before.
