Nash Central gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Southeast Halifax Trojans 50-0 at home. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Nash Central was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 207 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 179 rushing yards in ten consecutive matches dating back to last season.
Nash Central will host SouthWest Edgecombe at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Southeast Halifax, they will look to take advantage of their home-field for the first time this season as they take on Louisburg at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
